“My approach to teaching young people about drugs and alcohol is based on taking a non-judgmental, science-based perspective regarding the impact of drugs and alcohol on
the brain.

The developing adolescent brain is different than the
adult brain biologically, and this has significant implications
that teenagers need to understand in making informed
decisions about the use of marijuana and other drugs.

There are strong and unhelpful biases relating to the
effects of marijuana use resulting in black and white, all good
or all bad points of view. I help to create a dialogue that can assist teenagers, parents and the community in constructively addressing marijuana and drug issues.”
